Feelin' the Cuts visited Charles L. Durham Library on Valentine's Day to partake in the "We Love Our Library" celebration happening there. Youth and their parents that use the library on a regular basis got together to show their appreciation for the library and tell our elected officials that they want it to stay open! The event was put together in part by the Coalition to Save the Libraries.
Feelin' the Cuts is a dynamic team of youth and young adults committed to educating youth about city politics in order to include youth voice in the political decision making process. Using outreach, workshops and media production, we aim to empower young people to cope with the budget cuts and advocate for their rights and needs. Feelin' The Cuts is part of the UCCP's Temple Youth VOICES Project.
